At the beginning of the enchanting Riviera dei Limoni you find the small municipality of Gardone Riviera.
It is famous for the Vittoriale degli Italiani, a monumental house-museum and the last masterpiece of Gabriele d'Annunzio gifted to the Italian State in 1930... but there is more than that.

Marvellous parks with Mediterranean plants and essences surround the Liberty-style villas. Some are open to the public, such as the scenic Villa Alba with its majestic staircase.

The Hruska Garden, which belonged to doctor and botanist Arturo Hruska who collected over two thousand specimens of flowers, became the Andrè Heller Foundation Botanic Gardens in 1989. The owner is Austrian artist Andrè Heller who has transformed the gardens into a place where art and ecology merge. In addition to the many types of plants, there are installations and sculptures of famous artists such as Keith Haring, Roy Lichtenstein, Auguste Rodin and Joan Mirò.

A brief boat trip connects the banks of Gardone to the marvellous Isola del Garda.
It owes its charm to the extraordinary Neo-Gothic Venetian style villa designed by architect Luigi Rovelli in the early 1900s.
At its feet, terraces and gardens full of local, exotic plants, rare fragrances and unique flowers.
Take all the Time you need to admire this enchanting corner of the world.
